Almighty Summoner System

Chapter 255 - Crispy Roasted Mild Tempered Crocodile

A few moments later Ban and the others found another safe area again.

They traveled quite far, they were probably in the Inner Area already. It was all due to the Burst Mode of Tria that she actually enjoyed using, even though it was really taxing for her to use it.

Though, due to that, Tria became very tired when they arrived on this place, even to the point that she immediately reverted back to her normal form a few moments after they landed.

The place they found was not as closed as the cave, but the seven trees encircled them tightly, allowing a space to be formed at the center, which they will be using for the night.

After setting up everything, including the tent and the blankert for the ground, Ban went around to look for some woods so that he could cook for their dinner.

There was some X-Mortal Rank Mild Tempered left around and he was planning to roast one of them.

After he gathered enough wood, he piled them up and lit them on fire to allow them to heat up and become a burning charcoal a moment later.

While the woods were still heating, he retrieved the massive body of the crocodile and started preparing it on the other side.

He \'skinned\' it properly and washed it over and over again to get rid of the greasy parts of its body.

He then skewered it on a large wood, thick enough to carry the whole weight of the crocodile.

After that, he washed it again, he then prepared and started to marinate it. He used some condiments and other plants that could make its aroma better, lemongrass for example.

He put them all on the stomach of the crocodile and sewed it together to avoid the condiments flowing out later while roasting it.

After he was done, he smeared the surface of the crocodile with some normal honey, some soy sauce and other things to make it into a crispy crocodile later.

At the same moment he was done, the fire was also already ready.

After spreading the burning charcoal around, Ban placed the skewered Mild Tempered Crocodile above them, and started to slowly turn it around with the wood he used as the skewer.

The distance from the burning charcoal and the crocodile\'s meat was over two foot in length, so burning it and the wood he used to skewer it would not be a problem.

The crocodile was heavy but Ban had no problem rotating it around to make the heat distributed towards the crocodile\'s meat even.

Meanwhile, on Ban\'s side who was working hard to spin the crocodile, was Eva and Tria.

Both of their eyes were already glistening just from looking at the raw crocodile being rotated atop the burning charcoal.

Eva\'s mouth in particular was drooling a little. Tria was also pretty excited, making her wings flutter from time to time.

The two of them became pretty close after that incident. They have decided that instead of fighting over Ban, why won\'t they just share it for themselves?

Eva was like a strict teacher, explaining everything to her innocent little sister about some things.

Although both of them were just a few weeks old, their intelligence department was actually like heaven and earth.

Still, Eva was pretty patient in answering the inquiry of her younger sister, and was even enjoying it as per what Ban understood from what she was showing, and expressing to him.

The crocodile was big so it won\'t be cooked in just a few moments. In total, based on his estimation, it should be fully cooked for two hours and a half.

After a couple of minutes of staring at the rotating crocodile, Eva and Tria found it very boring so they went and played with themselves around Ban happily.

Ban also enjoyed their playfulness, so he would sometimes laugh at them from time to time whilst still rotating the crocodile of course.

An hour later, the surroundings had already completely darkened, only the light that came from the stars above and the burning charcoal below illuminated the place.

Eva and Tria became bored again so Ban put them inside the Beast Tattoo. Eva decided to cultivate, while Tria was given the Purmi Fruit for her to eat for the time being.

The crocodile\'s outer appearance has already changed as well. It has now become pale orange, signifying that it won\'t be long for it to get fully cooked, just another hour and a half.

Ban was also bored but he endured and continued to rotate it diligently. He would rest from time to time and add some would to keep the heat going.

And finally, after an hour and a half, the crocodile has finally become flaming red in color.

It was finally cooked.

Ban inspected it and knocked it, and smiled after seeing that it was as what he had envisioned.

He took it out of the burning charcoal and placed it on the ground which he already covered with some leaves beforehand.

He then pulled out the wood he used to skewer and put some finishing touches on it.

As the burning charcoal would die later, he decided to use some glowing stones to light the surroundings properly.

Fortunately, the tree surrounding them was huge and was tightly hugging each other so only a little light came out outside.

After the finishing touches were done, he immediately summoned Tria and Eva over, to look at the masterpiece.

Although it was first time cooking a Mild Tempered Crocodile, he was also already an expert with the knowledge provided by the System.

Eva and Tria looked at the red crocodile with wide eyes.

Just from looking at it, it was already delicious. Not to mention the crispy smell it gives off.

The two could wait no longer and stared at Ban with pleading eyes.

It was as if they\'re saying, serve it already.

Seeing their \'puppy\' eyes, Ban just shook his head and decided to cut them apart with a butcher knife, provided by Kuys of course.

Crisps sounds of something getting crushed traveled into his ears.

Ban planned on chopping the whole crocodile, but as he could no longer resist it himself, he decided to to set aside the other half for now and just ate the chopped-half first.
